Episode 2 In week two of The Food Hospital Gio, Lucy and Shaw meet Ian who is morbidly obese leading him to develop the potentially life threatening condition fatty liver. A mother and son who both suffer from psoriasis, like three generations of their family before them, come for help with their uncomfortable skin condition. The team also meet Rianna who is a teenager suffering from hair loss, and Sophie whose acid reflux is affecting her singing career. Dr Pixie McKenna investigates the true value of food supplements and the results of last week’s viewer survey will be revealed.
